The « 4 Tracks Session » concept: Like using an old 4 tracks tape recorder.

Record a first improvisation on a track. Then play the track and record a second one on it. And so on until you get 4 tracks.
Just improvising from a track to another, seeing what's happening.
The idea is also to limit mixing at a minor volume setup and to do a very basic mastering. Keeping it raw and close to the original. Almost live in fact. And exactly what I'm not supposed to do in my regular worflow!

So it comes with the mistakes and the magic! There are trully good and bad days to do this kind of recording. But whatever the result is, it is always fun and exciting. You get « a moment » of music. Something that happened just once and will never come back again. Just like a conversation. Each day has its own inspiration, and this is what I really like about it: Catching the spirit of the day...

Session one is build on a preset rhythm of my old groovebox.
