This album is the second part of a triple album project.

This album gets deeper in the sounds, ambiances and music approch initiated in the previous album. It was for me a kind of milestone, telling me I was in the right direction, encouraging me to still go further in my researches.

Third album of this project is now a work in progress and should be available in November 2020. So stay tuned!

"Conversation with the Blue Man" albums are inspired by my readings about unified field and astral projection, and the idea of reaching different existence levels while living numerous lifes and experiences.

Using accoustic percussions, such as congas, bongos, djembes, tablas, derboukas as well as electronic percussions, analogic synths, guitalele, senza or musical saw, I create my own samples, loops and tracks before experimenting delays, reverbs, pitching or distortion until I reach a sound texture reflecting my ideas.

Electric Chaman France

Electric Chaman is a solo musical project, initiated in 2019 by percussionist Léopold Guën.

Here begins an exploration of inner themes, and a search for strong contrasts: acoustics and electronics, loops and hand plays, improvisation and writing, melody and rhythm, earth and space... All while seeking for universality in music as well as a part of mysticism.
